Sled Hockey Makes Pond Tournament Debut

Disabled athletes take the ice to big crowds each day

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. - For the first time in the tournament's ten-year history, sled hockey teams competed at the 2015 Labatt Blue/USA Hockey Pond Hockey Nationals in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

The two teams took the opportunity to sell the sport to able-bodied athletes and spectators and drew large crowds for each of their three games.
