Charlotte Adult Classic Cancelled Due to Hurricane Matthew

Tournament was scheduled to take place in Indian Trail, North Carolina, this weekend

The Charlotte Adult Classic that was scheduled to take place in Indian Trail, North Carolina, this weekend has been cancelled due to safety concerns surrounding Hurricane Matthew.

USA Hockey’s top priority is the safety of its participants and Hurricane Matthew is currently on track to hit the eastern seaboard, including the Carolinas. Due to the uncertainly of the weather conditions and potential impact in the area, the tournament has been cancelled so as not to put anyone in harm’s way at the event or during their travel.

The tournament will not be rescheduled and teams will be refunded the full amount of the entry fee. Participants may contact USA Hockey’s adult hockey department with additional questions.
