Weather Cancellation Policy:

The Labatt Blue USA Hockey Pond Hockey National Championships is an outdoor event. By entering, you have acknowledged that you will be playing on a natural, outdoor ice surface, and ice conditions are at the mercy of Mother Nature.

Should the event be cancelled due to inclement weather or unsafe ice conditions as determined by the tournament director(s), teams have two options:

1. Entry into the 2019 USA Hockey/Labatt Blue Pond Hockey National Championships, in the same age and division for which they are currently registered. No exceptions. Full payment will remain with USA Hockey and should there be a change in the tournament entry fee, teams will be responsible for the difference for next year’s tournament.

2. Teams may elect to have 25% of their registration fee refunded to them. Teams who choose this option will NOT be guaranteed a spot in the 2019 event.

2018 Team Name Policy:

Because USA Hockey’s website and social media platforms are visible to hockey fans of all ages, Pond Hockey team names must not be offensive to any particular group or individual.  While we encourage and enjoy creativity, we can no longer post team names online that may be sexually suggestive, discriminatory or  harassing in any way. USA Hockey will review all team names, and reserves the right to reject your team name, or in USA Hockey’s sole discretion to modify any team name deemed offensive by either abbreviating or shortening a team name.  Thank you for your cooperation in being respectful to all hockey players and fans.
